OUR FOUNDER

Oscar Odhiambo
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr. Oscar Odhiambo is the founder and CEO of Hope to Live Charity Organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities. With over 5 Years of experience in the non-profit sector, he has developed expertise in mobilizing support, policy influencing tactics, stakeholder analysis, policy making and implementation, needs assessment analysis, capacity assessment, and monitoring and evaluation.
Through his work at Hope to Live Charity Organization,
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Odhiambo is deeply committed to philanthropy and has a passion for improving the lives of those in need. He has completed numerous trainings in non-profit management and leadership and is dedicated to continuing his education and professional development.
As the CEO of Hope to Live Charity Organization, Oscar continues to lead the organization with a focus on impact and sustainability, and is committed to creating positive change in the communities the organization serves.
OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

John Samuel Otieno
Director of Programs
Mr. John Samuel is a highly experienced professional in the development sector, with a 20-Year background in Community Health and Development, Information Studies, training & facilitation skills and stakeholder engagement with different line ministries & departments within National and County Governments and with development partners from Community level up to International level. At Hope to Live, he manages the organization’s portfolio; leading the ‘Bringing Preventative Care to Older Adults’ Project under the Community Health Education on Measures Against Diseases (CHEPMAD) Program in Kenya.
As a passionate, confident, self-driven, team player, he possesses good communication and interpersonal relation skills, and actively contributes in the improvement and promotion of dignified livelihoods through, social, economic, life safety, spiritual development and environmental conservation interventions for all.
Through his leadership & mentorship to the team at Hope to Live, Mr. Otieno brings in laudable technical strengths and competency in Training, Facilitation, moderation, Coordination and program management, as well as skills in Partnership, collaboration and linking development partners with governments through Participatory and Human Rights Based Approach approaches to Development.

Fredrick Otieno Oloo
Director of Administration, Human Resource & Operations
Mr. Fredrick Otieno is the Director of Administration, Human Resource and Operations at Hope to Live, bringing over 25 years of experience in marketing and operations in several for-profit companies. Mr. Otieno is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. He is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support the organization’s mission and goals.
With a deep understanding of business operations and a focus on delivering results, he is dedicated to driving the organization’s mission and goals forward. Throughout his career, he has developed a range of skills that have enabled him to succeed in his role. He is a strategic thinker who is able to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. He is also a skilled communicator who is able to work effectively with stakeholders and partners.
Mr. Otieno is passionate about making a positive impact through his work and believes in the power of collaboration between stakeholders, partners, and the community. With his expertise and experience, he is committed to driving the organization’s growth and impact, and is dedicated to creating a better future for all through his passion for driving results and making a positive impact in the world.

Jason Ndiri
Finance Manager
Mr. Jason Ndiri is an accountant professional with over 15 years experience in Finance Management. He leads the Finance Department at Hope to Live in undertaking financial management, budgeting, record keeping, payroll management, cost control, financial reporting, procurement process, asset management, computerized accounting, KRA Itax submission of returns and is a guru in Quick books and Sage Accounting Systems.

Arja Achieng
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Manager
Miss. Arja Achieng is a dedicated MEAL Manager at Hope to Live Charity Organization, bringing over 3 years of experience in project management, monitoring, evaluation documentation and risk monitoring. In her role, she demonstrates strong commitment to enhancing project effectiveness and ensuring that organizational goals are met through project scope assessment and strategic alignments. Her expertise in assessing program outcomes has significantly contributed to the organization’s mission, showcasing her passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Miss. Achieng holds a degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, equipping her with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for effective project execution. She has attained certification in Business Management, further enhancing her skills in organizational leadership and strategic planning. This solid educational foundation, combined with her hands-on experience, empowers her to excel in her role and drive successful programs & initiatives.

Tracy Serfine Oloo
Development & Communications Manager
Miss. Tracy Serfine a dynamic professional with over 4 years of experience in project management, resource mobilization, communications and grant management. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Planning and Management, she is the Development & Communications Manager at Hope to Live, taking lead in resource mobilization, linkage between the organization & resource partners, local fundraising & mobilizing support, communications, social media & website management, stakeholder engagement and grants management. With a vision of creating sustainable social change, she makes significant contributions at Hope to Live
She has in the past successfully led 4 major projects targeting women, girls and youth with an expertise that spans programs design & implementation of , resource mobilization, community needs assessment, monitoring and evaluation, organizational communications & graphic design while also excelling in the implementation of diverse projects on land rights, comprehensive sexuality education, gender-based violence, women economic empowerment and mental health projects like the Safe Minds and LAROW Project on Land Access Rights & Ownership for elderly women & women survivors of gender-based violence in Kisumu County among other projects. Securing diverse funding for various impactful initiatives and coordinating community-sensitive campaigns like the 16-Days of Activism Against GBV, she has contributed to organizational stability by strengthening partnerships, resource mobilization & organizational development. She demonstrates strong leadership in project & people management, communications, proposal writing, budget oversight & logistics, advocacy, external communications and partnerships building with donors and community stakeholders.
Miss. Serfine continues to develop her skills through ongoing professional development in areas such as digital marketing, graphic design, UI/UX design, website management and Certification of literary works by the Kenya Copyright Board. Passionate about creating sustainable social change, she is committed to advancing her career in social development and project management, while making meaningful contributions to Hope to Live Charity Organization.
PROGRAMS TEAM

Holly Amoiti Juma
Programs Coordinator
Miss. Holly Amoiti Juma holds expertise in Human Rights Advocacy, Resource Mobilization, Project Management, Case Management, Mental Health Counselling, Conflict Resolution, and Community Outreach.
Miss. Juma serves as a Programs Coordinator at Hope to Live Charity Organization coordinating the implementation of the ‘Bringing Preventative Care to Older Adults’ Project in Kisumu County. Her key responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and scheduling program activities; coordinating logistics for community development coordinators; liaising with beneficiaries, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery; monitoring and tracking program progress, outputs, and outcomes; preparing comprehensive reports; identifying and addressing operational challenges in program implementation; participating in the development of new proposals and concept notes; providing administrative and clerical support to the program team; and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of program-related documentation and files. Her work emphasizes addressing the unique challenges faced by older adults and ensuring their well-being through targeted and impactful initiatives.
Miss. Juma is a dedicated Social Worker with five years of experience driving transformative change in communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Moi University in Kenya and is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves. She has a proven track record of spearheading impactful advocacy programs and empowering livelihoods through community engagement.

Carilas Osewe
County Program Manager - Siaya County
Mr. Carilas Osewe is a highly motivated and dedicated professional with over five years of progressive experience in Program and Project Management, Community Development Projects, primarily focused on working for vulnerable people.
He Possesses a strong background in Bachelor of Arts-Sociology from University of Nairobi coupled with hands-on experience in Planning, Implementing, and evaluating community support projects. Throughout is career, he has successfully managed diverse programs, building strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Passionate about driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring the highest quality outcomes, Mr. Carilas leads the project team in Siaya County under the ‘Bringing Preventative Care to Older Adults’ Project.

Adhiambo Ruth John
County Program Manager - Homabay County
Miss. Adhiambo Ruth John is a graduate dedicated to transferring her skills in Social Development and adding value to the communities she serves.
Having worked with several organizations supporting projects such as Make ME Smile Kenya under the USAID4THE CHILD Project, HIV-free generation under the Nuru Ya Mtoto Project, Afya Ziwani, she has also directly engaged youth and older persons.
Miss. Ruth leads the ‘Bringing Preventative Care to Older Adults’ Project Team in Homabay County, including actively engaging stakeholders and community members in the grassroots of Homabay County.
Community Development Coordinators (CDCs)

Evalyne Auma Kiage
CDC - Muhoroni Sub County, Kisumu County
Miss. Evalyne Auma Kiage is a skilfull, experienced, dedicated and resourceful community development coordinator at Hope to Live with an active and dynamic approach in dealing with organizations and community members in Muhoroni Sub-County, Kisumu County. She holds a Certificate in Social Work and Community development from the Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development (KISWCD) and a Certificate in Computer Skills.
Evalyne Kiage has previously worked at Pamoja Child Foundation as a Project Officer and for the last 6 years as a facilitator in Kenya Works, Miral Welfare Foundation and Vi Agroforestry giving her a platform in more than 70 workshops in 11 counties in Kenya.
Miss. Evalyne has vast wealth of knowledge and skills in educating older persons on preventative healthcare measures, parents and guardians on effective parenting, child rights, Gender based violence, sexuality education for adolescent, cooperating with parents & guardians in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for their children and meeting various stakeholders on necessary child welfare policies and procedures. Her expertise and history of performance has enabled her gain more influence in community empowerment, child issues, counseling, older adults’ health issues, social enquiry and also support in court cases.
In the fear of God, she is determined to rise to the highest of her achievement by working hard with determination to make a difference to the community.

Rebecca Otieno
CDC- Seme Sub County, Kisumu County
Miss. Rebecca Otieno is an experienced community mobilizer and has in the past worked with humanitarian organizations conducting data collection and analysis targeting widows, elderly persons, orphans and vulnerable children. She has worked with LANDESA in data compilation on communal land injustices, Innovation Poverty Action(IPA) as an affiliate in Manywanda health centre, through women & girls empowerment programs.
At Hope to Live, she works as the Community Development Coordinator for Seme Sub County in Kisumu County. In her role, she undertakes grassroots mobilization, community sensitization and acts as a liason between the organization, community members and the local administration.

Sharon Oking
CDC- Kisumu East Subcounty, Kisumu County
Sharon Oking is a Community Development Coordinator for Kisumu East Sub-County in Kisumu County since assigned the year 2022.
Besides her impactful social development career, she holds a Diploma in Business Management. Her interpersonal skills enables efficient delivery of tasks within the grassroots, acting as a link between communities, local administrators and organizations.
