OUR FOUNDER

Oscar Odhiambo
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr. Oscar Odhiambo is the founder and CEO of Hope to Live Charity Organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities. With over 5 years of experience in the non-profit sector, he has developed expertise in mobilizing support, policy influencing tactics, stakeholder analysis, policy making and implementation, needs assessment analysis, capacity assessment, and monitoring and evaluation.
Through his work at Hope to Live Charity Organization,
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Odhiambo is deeply committed to philanthropy and has a passion for improving the lives of those in need. He has completed numerous trainings in nonprofit management and leadership and is dedicated to continuing his education and professional development.
As the CEO of Hope to Live Charity Organization, Oscar continues to lead the organization with a focus on impact and sustainability and is committed to creating positive change in the communities the organization serves.
OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
John Samuel Otieno
Director of Programs
Mr. John Samuel is a highly experienced professional in the development sector, with a 20-Year background in Community Health and Development, Information Studies, training & facilitation skills and stakeholder engagement with different line ministries & departments within National and County Governments and with development partners from Community level up to International level. At Hope to Live, he manages the organization’s portfolio; leading the ‘Bringing Preventative Care to Older Adults’ Project under the Community Health Education on Measures Against Diseases (CHEPMAD) Program in Kenya.
As a passionate, confident, self-driven, team player, he possesses good communication and interpersonal relation skills, and actively contributes in the improvement and promotion of dignified livelihoods through, social, economic, life safety, spiritual development and environmental conservation interventions for all.
Through his leadership & mentorship to the team at Hope to Live, Mr. Otieno brings in laudable technical strengths and competency in Training, Facilitation, moderation, Coordination and program management, as well as skills in Partnership, collaboration and linking development partners with governments through Participatory and Human Rights Based Approach approaches to Development.

Fredrick Otieno Oloo
Director of Administration, Human Resource & Operations
Mr. Fredrick Otieno is the Director of Administration, Human Resource and Operations at Hope to Live, bringing over 25 years of experience in marketing and operations in several for-profit companies. Mr. Otieno is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. He is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support the organization’s mission and goals.
With a deep understanding of business operations and a focus on delivering results, he is dedicated to driving the organization’s mission and goals forward. Throughout his career, he has developed a range of skills that have enabled him to succeed in his role. He is a strategic thinker who is able to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. He is also a skilled communicator who is able to work effectively with stakeholders and partners.
Mr. Otieno is passionate about making a positive impact through his work and believes in the power of collaboration between stakeholders, partners, and the community. With his expertise and experience, he is committed to driving the organization’s growth and impact, and is dedicated to creating a better future for all through his passion for driving results and making a positive impact in the world.

Jason Ndiri
Finance Manager
Mr. Jason Ndiri is a professional accountant with over 15 years of experience in Finance Management. He leads the Finance Department at Hope to Live in undertaking financial management, budgeting, record keeping, payroll management, cost control, financial reporting, procurement process, asset management, computerized accounting, KRA iTax submission of returns, and is a guru in QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Systems.
Syprose Awuor
Project Manager
With over six years of experience in Project management, Syprose developed a strong track record in designing, implementing, and overseeing community-centered development initiatives. She began her professional journey at KMET Organization, where she gained valuable experience supporting development programs and working closely with communities between the age of 15-49 years to implement sustainable interventions.
Syprose holds a Diploma in Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management, which equipped her with practical expertise in Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Stakeholder Engagement, Budgeting, and Resource Management.
Currently, Syprose serves as Project Manager at Hope to Live Charity Organization, where she oversees and coordinates all organizational projects. Her role includes strategic planning, program implementation, partnership coordination, team leadership, and ensuring projects align with organizational goals while delivering measurable impact.
Her professional focus includes Community Empowerment, Advocacy, Social Protection, and Strengthening Support Systems for vulnerable populations, the Older Adults. She’s committed to promoting accountability, sustainability, and inclusive development through well-structured and results-oriented project management practices.
She brings a strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a passion for driving initiatives that improve livelihoods and create lasting positive change in the vulnerable older adults.
Joyce Alice Omondi
Project Officer
A dedicated and community-driven development professional with 4 years experience, Alice currently serves as a project officer in charge of the Tuma Upendo Initiative and Silver Voice Alliance. With a strong passion for social impact, Alice leads strategic programs focused on youth empowerment, community engagement and inclusive advocacy
As a peer educator, Alice actively promotes Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) awareness, equipping young people and marginalized communities with accurate information, practical life skills, and access to essential services. Their work emphasizes informed decision-making, gender equality, and the prevention of harmful practices
In addition, Alice is a committed mental health activist championing open conversations around psychological well-being, reducing stigma, and advocating for accessible mental health support systems. Through community dialogues, training sessions, and outreach initiatives, they strive to create safe spaces where individuals can seek help without fear of discrimination.
With strong leadership, coordination, and facilitation skills, Alice continues to drive impactful initiatives that foster healthier, empowered, and resilient communities.
JoyCarthy Adhiambo
IT and Digital Support Lead
Joycarthy Adhiambo is an IT and Digital Support Lead with a degree in Information
Technology, with expertise in providing reliable technical support, optimizing digital
systems, and ensuring secure online operations. In my current role, I oversee website auditing
and conduct comprehensive data security checks. Over the past few weeks, I have been
actively leading initiatives to audit websites, strengthen cybersecurity measures, streamline
IT workflows, and enhance overall system performance.
With a focus on identifying outdated data, implementing improvements, and maintaining
best-practice compliance, I support the organization in safeguarding digital information while
improving productivity and user experience.
Elizabeth Valary Ogola
Communication and Marketing Officer
Elizabeth Valary Ogola is a Strategic communications and Marketing Professional with over 3 years experience and currently serving as the communications and marketing officer at Hope To Live Charity Organization. She specializes in nonprofit communications, brand visibility, and stakeholder engagement with a strong focus on strengthening organizational presence and impact.
In her current role, Elizabeth leads the development and implementation of integrated communication and marketing strategies that enhance awareness of the organization’s programs and initiatives. She manages digital platforms, including the website and social media channels, ensuring consistent, engaging, and mission-aligned messaging across all touchpoints
She creates compelling content, such as impact stories, blog articles, newsletters, and multimedia materials that effectively communicate results and inspire support from donors, partners, and the community.
Elizabeth works closely with internal teams to coordinate campaigns, outreach activities, and events that expand reach and strengthen stakeholder relationships. Additionally, she monitors and evaluates communication performance using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
She also supports the design and production of branded materials, including brochures, flyers, and event collateral, ensuring professional and consistent visual communication. Elizabeth is passionate about strategic storytelling and digital engagement as powerful tools for amplifying impact, fostering community connections, and advancing the mission of organizations that drive meaningful social change.
Jael Walhome Musee
Procurement And Project Assistant
Jael Walhome Musee is a Procurement and Projects Assistant with experience in project coordination, procurement support, and administrative management within community and health-focused initiatives. She currently serves as a Procurement and Projects Assistant with the Kenyan Senior Wellness Community of Practice (KSW CoP), where she supports project planning and implementation, procurement processes, documentation management, and coordination of thematic working groups.
Jael has demonstrated expertise in work plan development, supplier coordination, stakeholder engagement, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with organizational procedures. She is passionate about strengthening collaborative platforms that promote senior wellness, accountability, and sustainable community impact
Community Development Coordinators (CDCs)
Evalyne Auma Kiage
CDC - Muhoroni Sub County, Kisumu County
Miss. Evalyne Auma Kiage is a skilfull, experienced, dedicated and resourceful community development coordinator at Hope to Live with an active and dynamic approach in dealing with organizations and community members in Muhoroni Sub-County, Kisumu County. She holds a Certificate in Social Work and Community development from the Kenya Institute of Social Work and Community Development (KISWCD) and a Certificate in Computer Skills.
Evalyne Kiage has previously worked at Pamoja Child Foundation as a Project Officer and for the last 6 years as a facilitator in Kenya Works, Miral Welfare Foundation and Vi Agroforestry giving her a platform in more than 70 workshops in 11 counties in Kenya.
Miss. Evalyne has vast wealth of knowledge and skills in educating older persons on preventative healthcare measures, parents and guardians on effective parenting, child rights, Gender based violence, sexuality education for adolescent, cooperating with parents & guardians in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for their children and meeting various stakeholders on necessary child welfare policies and procedures. Her expertise and history of performance has enabled her gain more influence in community empowerment, child issues, counseling, older adults’ health issues, social enquiry and also support in court cases.
In the fear of God, she is determined to rise to the highest of her achievement by working hard with determination to make a difference to the community.
Rebecca Otieno
CDC- Seme Sub County, Kisumu County
Miss. Rebecca Otieno is an experienced community mobilizer and has in the past worked with humanitarian organizations conducting data collection and analysis targeting widows, elderly persons, orphans and vulnerable children. She has worked with LANDESA in data compilation on communal land injustices, Innovation Poverty Action(IPA) as an affiliate in Manywanda health centre, through women & girls empowerment programs.
At Hope to Live, she works as the Community Development Coordinator for Seme Sub County in Kisumu County. In her role, she undertakes grassroots mobilization, community sensitization and acts as a liason between the organization, community members and the local administration.
Sharon Oking
CDC- Kisumu East Subcounty, Kisumu County
Sharon Oking is a Community Development Coordinator for Kisumu East Sub-County in Kisumu County since assigned the year 2022.
Besides her impactful social development career, she holds a Diploma in Business Management. Her interpersonal skills enables efficient delivery of tasks within the grassroots, acting as a link between communities, local administrators and organizations.
